BMS Introduction

The Business Management System (BMS) is a comprehensive online platform designed to streamline and simplify various business operations, including project cost management, timesheet tracking, purchase order processing, and other key accounting details.

As a valued member of our team, you now have access to BMS via the web at https://bms.services.candu.org. Simply click on the link and log in using your Active Directory credentials to get started.

What is BMS?

BMS provides a centralized platform for tracking, managing, and analyzing various business aspects, including:

• Project cost management: Easily monitor and manage project expenses, revenues, and profitability.
• Timesheet tracking: Accurately record and track employee work hours, ensuring seamless payroll processing.
• Purchase order processing: Simplify the procurement process with automated PO creation, approval workflows, and vendor management.

How to access BMS

To login to BMS:

1. Visit https://bms.services.candu.org
2. Click on the "Login" button
3. Enter your Active Directory credentials (username and password)

BMS Environments

The Business Management System (BMS) is a comprehensive online platform designed to streamline and simplify various business operations, including project cost management, timesheet tracking, purchase order processing, and other key accounting details. The BMS has two primary environments: Production (PROD) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), along with two additional Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) environments (QAT1 and QAT2).

Production (PROD)

• Description: Our production/live environment
• Access URL: https://bms.services.candu.org

The PROD environment is the live instance of the BMS, accessible to all users via the provided URL.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Description: A testing area for new features before releasing into production
• Access URL: https://bms-uat.services.conexusnuclear.org/

The UAT environment is used for testing and validating new features, using prod-like conditions.

Quality Assurance Testing (QAT1 & QAT2)

• Description: Environments for comprehensive testing and validation
• Access URLs:

QAT1 and QAT2 use synthetic data for quality assurance testing of the BMS, allowing testers to identify issues before features reach UAT or PROD. Testers can log in as different roles to simulate various user scenarios.
