AI Chat Assistant
The AI Assistant (Conexie) is available on both the search page and document preview pages. Click the green sidebar tab on the right to open it.
Asking Questions
Type a question in the chat input and press Enter. The AI searches your document library and generates an answer grounded in actual documents, not general knowledge.
Example questions:
- "Find documents about reduced outages"
- "What research exists on condition-based maintenance?"
- "Give me 5 documents on online monitoring"
The AI response includes:
- A synthesized answer citing specific documents
- Further Reading links to related documents
Slash Commands (Document Preview only)
When viewing a specific document, type / to see available commands:

Press Tab to auto-complete a command.
Voice Input
Click the microphone button to speak your question instead of typing. The browser converts your speech to text automatically. (Requires browser support.)
Chat Sessions
- The chat remembers your conversation history within a session.
- Click the clock icon in the chat header to see Recent Chats from the last hour or start a new conversation.
- If you had a recent session, the AI offers to continue where you left off.
- Click the expand button to widen the chat panel for easier reading.
